Who can check a Roku device out?
- Any Rolling Meadows Resident with a valid Rolling Meadows Library Card.

How long can a Roku device be checked out?
- A device can be checked out for seven days.

Can a Roku device be renewed?
- No, the units may not be renewed.

Can Roku devices be placed on hold?
- Yes, click on the Availability tab above.

Can I freeze my Roku devices hold?
- Yes, provided that you have not gotten a notification that it is ready for you to pick-up already. For instructions on freezing & unfreezing your hold, click

What is needed at home to use the Roku device?
- The device needs a wireless internet connection and a television with HDMI ports.

Is kids material available on the devices?
- Yes, the Kids profiles have been activated for all of the streaming accounts on each device.

Do the library's streaming accounts have Ads?
- No.

Can patrons add additional channels to the Roku devices?
- No, each device is pre-loaded. No additional streaming accounts can be added.

Can the Roku device kit be returned in the bookdrop?
- Please only return it to the Circulation Desk inside the building.

- Roku device, Roku remote, HDMI cable, micro USB cable, USB power adapter, Roku Quick Set-up Instructions and the case.
