If you need a quiet place to study, our study rooms are a great place to spread out and work. If you need a conference room to gather, we have you covered with the tech you need. If that is not big enough, you can reserve our Community and Board rooms for your next gathering.
Before you make a reservation, please read our room policies.
Study Rooms
We have two study rooms available for public use on the main level in the Reference Area. Rolling Meadows Library cardholders and reciprocal borrowers may reserve a room online. Non card holders may reserve a room in person at the Reference Desk. Availability is first come, first served.
Reservation Guidelines
- Reserve online at least 1 day in advance.
- Reserve up to 2 hours per day.
- Reserve maximum of 2 bookings per week.
- Please arrive at your reservation time and check in at the Reference Desk.
- Reservation may be released if you arrive 10 minutes after your reserved time.

Maximum Capacity: 4
Room includes:
- Table with 3 chairs
- Dry erase wall
- TV screen with VGA and HDMI hookups
- In-room PC with a webcam
Room Guidelines:
- Patrons must be 14 and over to use the study rooms.
- No food allowed in the study room.
- Beverages are allowed in a covered container.
- Library staff is not responsible for items left unattended.
Study Room B
Reference Area

Maximum Capacity: 4
Room includes:
- Table with 3 chairs
- Dry erase wall
- TV screen with VGA and HDMI hookups
- In-room PC with a webcam

- No food allowed in the study room.
- Beverages are allowed in a covered container.
- Library staff is not responsible for items left unattended.

Large Meeting Rooms
The Rolling Meadows Library has two meeting rooms available to support the Library’s mission. When not in use for Library activities, these rooms may be made available for use for meetings of Rolling Meadows community groups and organizations whose aims are for educational, cultural, or civic purposes and not for profit.
Reservation Guidelines
- Submit your reservation request at least 30 days prior to the meeting.
- A Rolling Meadows Library cardholder age 18+ must make the reservation and serve as the responsible party for the meeting. Proof of not-for-profit status may be required.
- No rooms will be reserved until the application and all of the fees have been received.
- All meetings will be held during regular Library hours. Meetings will not start sooner than 30 minutes after the Library opens and must end no later than 30 minutes prior to the Library’s closing.
- In case of cancellation, any fees paid will be refunded only if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.

Board Room

Maximum Capacity: 12
Room Fee: $10

- Long table with 12 chairs
- Additional seating along wall (6 chairs)

Community Room
Location: Upper Level
Maximum Capacity: 100 (theater style only)
Room Fee: $25
Room Includes:
- Standard or custom setup with up to 8 tables and chairs
- OR setup with up to 100 chairs theater style
- Pull down projector screen

- Flat top cart
- Microphone or Wireless microphone
- Lectern
- Music Stand
- White board & markers
Available for a charge:
- Piano ($50)
- Kitchenette ($10)
